Communication
- Communication is a critical component of a successful soccer relationship. It is the responsibility of the coach to make sure the player understands his/her role on the team. It is also the responsibility of the coach to inform the player of what needs to occur so the player may increase his/her role and develop as a soccer player. It is the responsibility of the player to take the suggestions of the coach and work hard to improve. If the player has any questions, they must not hesitate to ask the coach.
- Acceptable communication with coach:
- Current role of the player.
- What needs to happen to increase role of the player.
- Concerns the parent may have concerning son/daughter’s player development and off-field issues
- While communication is essential to the success and the development of the players, there are certain topics of that will not be discussed.
- Philosophical discussions about playing style and strategy
- Discussions about other players and their role. Discussions will only focus on your child.
- Proper method of communication (24 hour) .
